A passion for fun and learning

To inspire and empower young people in our community through badminton, promoting physical health, mental wellbeing, and social connection in a safe, inclusive, and fun environment.

Shuttles

We only use Feather Shuttlecocks in practice and in any tournaments we may run.

Rackets

We have spare rackets if you have not got access to your own.

Drink

Please bring a drink with you as it can get warm in the hall after some moving about on court. It is important to stay hydrated!

Warm up

We will warm up at the beginning of every session to ensure a safer playing experience and prevent injury.

Bring a friend

Bring a friend along for a free session to see if they like it!

Warm down

Having a warm down is just as important to prevent injury and promote recovery – then we can all help put the nets away!

Suitable Clothing

Wear appropriate sportswear, such as lightweight, breathable and comfortable clothes and non marking trainers.

Coach & Safeguarding

The club coach and welfare officer will be present at each session to ensure safeguarding of every participant.

Volunteers

If you are interested in supporting the club in any way, let us know!

“Having played badminton for many years it is now time to pass on anything that can help young people play better and enjoy the game more”
